Easterns have done the double in South Africa taking home both the T20 and Domestic One Day crown.
The province coached by Richard das Neves secured the one day win with a thrilling 24-run, ninth-wicket stand between Imran Manack and Dyllan Matthews to secure the win against Northerners at SuperSport Park.
Easterns requiring 277 were at one stage 253 for 8 but Manack and Matthews held their nerve to see Easterns over the line.
The Game was captured live via the PV/Match system as per every game of the domestic summer accommodating up to 6 cameras.

On the PV/Match, live stream Das Neves commented “PV has helped a great deal with development as it has created a platform for the players to do self-analysis and grow their games with the instant feedback and great analysis tools available”
“Having different angles to work with has helped from a coaching perspective, the side on an angle allows benefits for reviewing bowling actions and batting set up. The slow-motion views can be particularly helpful”
In the T20 final, A career-best 87 off 53 balls by Wesley Marshall and strong display in the field led the way for Easterns to win the thrilling final when they edged out KwaZulu-Natal Inland by five runs in Benoni.
The opener clubbed two sixes and nine fours to propel the hosts to a strong 178 for six after they were asked to take the first strike at Willowmoore Park.
Richard Das Neves shares a moment with assistant coach Tumelo Bodibe and the T20 trophy.
“The videos allow the province and union to show highlights and magic moments on social media platforms etc and this creates awareness for the team and the union”
“PV has helped professionalize our program and our level of cricket. It allows us to analyze the opposition and to use it with our players to improve their games. Another great aspect has been for the umpiring, to show when mistakes have been made for the growth of their department”
